Our employees are our most valuable resource – not only because they contribute to the company’s success through their work, but because they bring creativity, team spirit, and ambition to everything they do. A role at umdasch should be more than just a nine-to-five job for our Store Makers – it should be enjoyable and have a genuine sense of purpose.

We are no longer solely a traditional furniture manufacturer. Today, we also offer furniture design, conceptual consulting, project management, general contracting, and digital solutions. As our range of services has grown significantly, so too have the responsibilities within our diverse team. We firmly believe that the development of our employees directly contributes to the growth of our company.

That's why we continuously invest in the training and development of our teams. Through tailor-made programmes – including our in-house Project Management Academy, targeted workshops, and further training opportunities – we support the professional and personal growth of our employees. These investments in knowledge and skills not only strengthen our workforce, but also our innovative strength and competitiveness. True heroes are not always easy to spot – often they are the people who achieve extraordinary things while staying in the background. We have such heroes among us: Store Makers who develop technical solutions to keep our digital connections running, and those who carry out their work with exceptional commitment and dedication to creating outstanding experiences.   
  
In 2024, we presented the ‘True Heroes’ award for the fourth time – our way of showing the highest appreciation for colleagues who achieve extraordinary things in their work.

At umdasch The Store Makers, we see cooperation as one of our core values. Standing by others, offering support, and working together lie at the heart of our corporate culture.

As part of the Umdasch Group, we support the projects of the Umdasch Group Foundation, which is dedicated to combating social inequality through education and knowledge. The focus is particularly on children and young people, whose potential is encouraged in order to enable them to lead a self-determined life and make a positive contribution to society.
