III Processing in detail

A valid e-mail address is required to subscribe to the newsletter. When registering, the IP address and the date of registration are saved. This procedure serves as security in the event that a third party misuses the e-mail address and registers for the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorised person. umdasch uses this data exclusively for sending the requested information.
inSites Online Paper
umdasch offers the possibility of obtaining its own online newspaper "insites" via its websites. To make this possible, umdasch processes data such as title, first name, surname and e-mail address.
The electronic messages are sent by the company abm Feregyhazy & Simon GmbH (Unterhaidstraße 17, A-4050 Traun, Austria; processor within the meaning of the GDPR). When a user registers for the newsletter, the data provided during registration is transmitted to abm and stored there. After registration, the user receives an email from abm to confirm the registration by clicking on the link ("double opt-in"). abm offers analysis options for how newsletters are opened and used. By subscribing to the newsletter, you consent to the processing of the data provided. Consent to the storage of data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter can be revoked at any time. The cancellation can be made via a link in the newsletter or by sending a message to umdasch.
Use of cookies and third-party applications
When using the websites, so-called "cookies" are also stored on the visitor's access device. Cookies are small files that make it possible to store device-specific information on the access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). They are used on the one hand to make websites user-friendly (e.g. storage of login data) and on the other hand to collect and analyse statistical data on the use of the website in order to improve the offer. The user can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option that can be used to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and in particular the ease of use are restricted without cookies.
Cookies are also stored on the visitor's PC when using the online shop in order to track movements in the online shop, to use the shopping basket and to recognise the visitor on repeated visits to our website.
Our websites use the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are explained below:

Description:
These websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on these websites (_gat._anonymizeIp), Google will truncate your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of analysing the use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. The add-on tells the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics.
