With the new version of its umdasch eXperience Platform, umdasch The Store Makers is launching a further development of the software solution that digitally networks the retail trade. The application offers a central overview of all digital touchpoints and opens up a wide range of possibilities for retailers to optimise their daily business processes.

 

The umdasch eXperience Platform, umdasch XP for short, is a clearly organised solution that redefines collaboration and analysis in the retail sector. The innovative middleware from umdasch The Store Makers simplifies and centralises the monitoring of digital touchpoints at the point of sale (PoS). Retailers benefit from greater efficiency and precision in the management of their system landscape - regardless of geographical or operational boundaries.

 

Interface for technology at the point of sale
The umdasch XP combines all digital touchpoints in one central system - from digital signage and electronic price labelling to content management systems and IoT-enabled furniture, such as the Liquid Dispenser from umdasch or, in future, self-checkout tills. Retailers can monitor all components of their network via a user-friendly interface and manage and control some of them.


In addition to the clear performance management of the individual systems, a particular focus is on the seamless connection of software solutions such as the Dealer App for managing digital signage content or other applications for content control.


The intuitive umdasch XP dashboard provides retailers with a complete overview of the status of their digital touchpoints at the PoS at all times, so that potential challenges - from system errors to content problems - can be recognised and resolved at an early stage. Thanks to the integrated analytics functions, marketing campaigns, for example, can be precisely controlled and optimised on the basis of sound data.

 

Comprehensive solutions for complex challenges
The platform is aimed in particular at companies with complex IT system landscapes that require a daily overview of their systems and inventory. "Whether it's asset tracking, rollouts or the management of digital systems - umdasch XP offers a comprehensive 'one-stop' solution that covers all the requirements of the modern retail landscape," explains Bernd Albl, Managing Director Digital Solutions at umdasch The Store Makers.


"Our umdasch XP is the answer to our customers' daily challenges. It offers a management view as a dashboard based on detailed data analysis that creates real added value in the retail sector," Albl continues.

 

Ongoing further development
Well-known customers are already utilising the versatile possibilities of the platform. For Albl, however, umdasch XP is a product that is constantly being further developed due to the constantly changing conditions on the market. This is because the store makers want the platform to continue to provide the right answer to the new, changing requirements of different retailers in the future. A corresponding roadmap for future updates has already been developed by the umdasch digital experts.
