Tackling the climate crisis requires a range of solutions and clearly defined targets. That's why the Umdasch Group, together with its three divisions – umdasch The Store Makers, Doka and umdasch Industrial Solutions – has set itself an ambitious goal: NET ZERO by 2040. In 2023, a comprehensive double materiality analysis highlighted 26 key sustainability issues that are critical to both our stakeholders and for the long-term success of the Umdasch Group. ![UAG Net Zero 2040](https://www.umdasch.com/upload/assets/12_Umdasch-Group/UAG_NetZero-2040.jpg) Based on these findings, all key sustainability aspects were analysed in detail to ensure that both the qualitative and quantitative KPIs meet the requirements of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This includes the careful selection of suppliers, the use of recycled materials, reduced packaging, and optimised transport routes. Our supply chain meets the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility. To ensure this, we work closely with our suppliers. Regular audits and clear agreements – such as our Supplier Code of Conduct – help ensure that sustainability principles are consistently upheld.
