With the opening of the first NIO store on Berlin's Ku'damm at the end of 2022, the premium brand for electric vehicles started its expansion in Europe. umdasch The Store Makers are supporting the start-up as general contractor and shopfitter, creating versatile meeting points and tangible brand contacts - from planning to implementation.

The NIO stores are more than just showrooms: they offer space for community, lifestyle and innovation with lounge areas, a café, gallery and children's area. The Store Makers master complex construction and coordination tasks under high time pressure and set local accents in terms of design and fittings - including customised furniture, catering areas and playful highlights.
The second NIO House with 1,600 m² opened in Frankfurt am Main in March 2023. The design combines urban materials such as glass and concrete with sustainable wood and terrazzo to showcase the innovative character of the brand in an open, inviting atmosphere.
