# Scalable digital signage initiative for new client Decathlon Germany

  umdasch The Store Makers has won Decathlon as a new client for digital in-store solutions: since early 2026, the Digital Retail team has been supporting the sports retailer with the roll-out of state-of-the-art digital signage applications across Germany.

The focus is on a scalable rollout, covering around 100 stores over the next two to three years. umdasch The Store Makers is supplying and installing the hardware for this – including displays, mounts and steles, as well as furniture from its own production. The Digital Retail team is also providing support and service for the newly installed systems. This means that the core components of the project – from on-site equipment to ongoing operations – come from a single source. Overall, this creates a seamless shopping experience, thanks to modern digital touchpoints at the point of sale.

This partnership is an important step towards jointly realising future-oriented digital solutions in retail.

The collaboration is also seen as an important milestone from the customer’s perspective: “With umdasch Digital Retail, we have a strong partner at our side who shares our vision of a seamless, digital, in-store experience,” explains Nathalie Welle, Leader Digital Retail Solutions at Decathlon. “Our joint launch in Germany is an important milestone in further expanding digital touchpoints in-store and offering our customers an even better shopping experience.”

The aim of the partnership is to consistently develop digital touchpoints in brick-and-mortar retail and enable efficient rollout to further locations and markets.
