EUROSPAR Rheincenter in Lustenau celebrates re-opening – with shopfitting by umdasch The Store Makers

After five months of renovation, the EUROSPAR in the Rheincenter Lustenau has reopened its doors. The shopfitting for the 2,000 square metre shopping experience came from umdasch The Store Makers.

The EUROSPAR in the Rheincenter Lustenau is one of the largest and most successful stores of the Austrian food retailer. After more than 20 years, the store was completely renovated within five months and converted to the latest EUROSPAR shop design concept 2.0. A real feel-good atmosphere is created as soon as you enter the store, where the fruit and vegetable department in the entrance area offers a wide selection. The new delicatessen section offers a wide range of meat and cheese specialities, as well as a large selection of snacks from the hot counter. With decorative wooden structures and back walls from umdasch The Store Makers, this forms the heart of the new EUROSPAR. The bakery area, which also comes from the umdasch specialists and includes a bakery box, creates the feeling of a bakery around the corner.

More generous product presentation thanks to new concept

The modernisation of the store to the new EUROSPAR shop design concept means that consumers can be offered a wider range of products. The products are presented on more than 300 linear metres of shelving produced, delivered and installed by umdasch The Store Makers. As a further highlight, the Store Makers were also able to equip the entire store with electronic shelf labelling (ESL).

In the cosmetics department of the new EUROSPAR you will find a product innovation from umdasch The Store Makers, which was developed together with the Austrian electronics company ANA-U: a new price rail with integrated lighting, which was specially developed for ESL, ensures that the products on display are presented in the best light.

Modernised checkout zone

Especially in stores with high customer frequency, such as the EUROSPAR in Lustenau, the checkouts have to meet special requirements. On the one hand, there is a need to accommodate the multi-functional technology and at the same time create enough space for packing and unpacking products. On the other hand, the checkout staff must be able to work ergonomically. Ten conveyor belt checkouts, realised by umdasch The Store Makers, meet these requirements and make a significant contribution to reducing the waiting time for consumers at the checkout in the new EUROSPAR.
