Andreas Ludwig succeeds Reinhold Süßenbacher

Generation change on the Executive Board of Umdasch AG

Dr. Andreas Ludwig (50) − until April 2010 CEO of the listed company Zumtobel AG − will replace the Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. Reinhold Süßenbacher (61), as Chairman of the Executive Board of Umdasch AG from the beginning of September 2010. Dr. Süßenbacher, who has led the company for over eleven years with great success, will join the Supervisory Board under the chairmanship of Hilde Umdasch and Alfred Umdasch. With Dr. Ludwig as Chairman of the Executive Board the existing board members Ing. Josef Kurzmann (DOKA Group) and Dipl.Vw. Helmut Neher (Umdasch Shopfitting Group) will form the new management team of the Umdasch group.

At Umdasch Dr. Ludwig will lead a corporate group which operates internationally and employs a staff of approximately 7,000 worldwide. In 2009 Umdasch achieved revenues of nearly € 1 billion. Of this total, some 90% were generated by exports. In spite of the difficult overall economic situation, the revenue from ordinary activities amounted to over € 70 million in 2009.

With its two business areas DOKA Formwork Technology and Umdasch Shopfitting Group, the Umdasch Group is represented worldwide in some 70 countries with over 170 sales locations.

The Supervisory Board of Umdasch is convinced that under its new Chairman Umdasch AG will continue to develop successfully in the future.
