Josef Umdasch Research Prize 2010 – enter now!

Entries are invited by the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, for the tenth international Josef Umdasch Research Prize, which is endowed with 30,000 euros in prize money. Instituted in memory of the founder of the Umdasch Group, this research prize is one of Europe’s premier awards for research in the field of forestry and timber science. The deadline for the submission of entries for this year’s Josef Umdasch Research Prize is 31st May 2010.

Endowed by Hilde Umdasch and Alfred Umdasch, the Josef Umdasch Research Prize is awarded for outstanding achievements in the field of forestry and timber science. It is a token of the esteem in which the Umdasch Group holds scientific research as the foundation upon which business-related, product-specific research and development work can build.
